What makes me happy?
The first one is very simple: other people. Although I'm quite introverted and like to spend a lot of time on my own, having real connections with people makes me truly happy.
Something that satisfies me is contributing to something that I believe is important. Although doing research is mostly tough and can make me truly UNhappy, this doesn't weigh up to the continued satisfied feeling I get from it.
In the past few years I have learned to listen to myself. I think this is a necessity to be happy. There have been periods where I let my decisions depend on other people's opinions, or even what I thought people's (or societies) opinons were. Letting that go has made me much more free.
At last, there are these small stuff that can make me happy, like being outside, running, and honestly, good food.
